Biography

Mark started preaching in 1975 while still a student at St. Louis Christian College. Over the years he has held ministries in Missouri and Indiana, and became the preaching minister at Poinciana Christian Church in Kissimmee, Florida in 1989. Since then the church has experienced steady growth and recently relocated to a beautiful 20-acre property on one of Central Florida’s busiest highways.

Mark is also a jazz saxophonist and has performed for many years as a solo artist, in small groups, and in big bands at countless churches, camps, conventions, and jazz festivals. In addition to preaching, Mark also plays sax every Sunday in the horn section of the dynamic Poinciana Christian Church worship band, and is often a featured jazz soloist.

In 1975, Mark married his high school sweetheart, Marilyn. They have one daughter, Michelle, who was born in 1978.

In his spare time, Mark loves to play golf and softball. He is an avid reader and a collector of fine jazz recordings. He is a huge sports fan and is partial to the St. Louis Cardinals, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Orlando Magic.
